Subject1.2.127: timeout message for aic7xxx
DateSun, 08 Nov 1998 14:14:21 +0100
From"Michel Eyckmans (MCE)" <>

Since switching to 2.1.127 (from 2.1.125), I am seeing a
`scsi: aborted command due to timeout' mesage during boot:

scsi0 : Adaptec AHA274x/284x/294x (EISA/VLB/PCI-Fast SCSI) 5.1.3/3.2.4
<Adaptec AHA-2940A Ultra SCSI host adapter>
scsi1 : Adaptec 152x SCSI driver; $Revision: 1.7 $
scsi : 2 hosts.
scsi : aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 0x00 00 00 00 00 00
Vendor: SEAGATE Model: ST32155N Rev: 0318
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0
Vendor: IOMEGA Model: ZIP 100 Rev: N*32
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi removable disk sdb at scsi1, channel 0, id 5, lun 0

Apart from this message showing up, everything seems to work fine.
The above should contain all relevant info (and more) about the
hardware.
