I have good news and bad news. The good news is that on a stock 2.1.127pre3 kernel I do not get the funny screen blanking problem, but apm -s locks me up. undefing APM_NOINTS cures that problem. With the arca...-7 patch, most of which is now in 2.1.127pre7, undefing APM_NOINTS just makes things worse. The screen not only blanks, the keyboard is dead. So it looks like it was the arca patch rather the apm patch that screwed me up. Sorry. pre7 also kills my PCMCIA again, so I have to wait for Dave Hinds to get things fixed there. Watch out for falling rocks :) -- Garst
