What I do not understand is why I get a packet loss of 91% on localhost when I can ping another simillar system and get no packet loss. The software is the same on both systems.
--- localhost ping statistics --- 9590 packets transmitted, 769 packets received, 91% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max = 0.1/48.0/100.2 ms --- dom2.hws.edu ping statistics --- 2305 packets transmitted, 2304 packets received, 0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max = 0.4/0.4/0.7 ms
