And I remember that it was an 11/45 not a /24 ... it has been so long ago. I have not touched DEC hardware in nearly 20 years. I thought it did run on an 8, though ... oh, well. Never got the chance to see a 7, only 6's, 8's, and 11's and then VAX. Most of my work at that time was on Data General systems anyway.
