Alas, I am using EGCS 1.0.1 to compile 2.1.128ac2 and I _have_ seen it get into 'slow motion' mode. I don't think it is the compiler.
I posted yesterday that Alan's 128ac2 patch seemed to fix the problem on my IDE 200MMX but I was _wrong_. It locked up on me last night while shutting down. It was responsive but not making forward progress. 'init' and two shell processes shutting down the LPD were stuck running. I had to reset it.... -Ben McCann
