But removing this `arbitrary restriction' early in 2.3.x will give people plenty of time to fix the applications that might be affected.
Its not a huge issue, I just think that we should have as few arbitrary special rules as possible.
Oh, and if Linux and FreeBSD have O_NOFOLLOW, then thats a good chunk of the main-stream.
