Yep. I also can't recall seeing anything in recent patches which might affect this, other than the quota changes (which do potentially affect inode rundown, but I'd be very surprised if they made inodes unreclaimable).
For what it's worth, my primary system here is now running 2.1.124 plus mingo-raid, and it stays up all day under moderate load at times. There has been no observed change in the behaviour here since the VM changes around about 2.1.110.
