Ah - thanks for that. In fact, it prompted me to implement the obvious alternative (in an Exim filter):
if $h_sender: contains "owner-linux-kernel@vger.rutgers.edu" then pipe "/bin/sh -c \"/bin/grep -v '^Reply-To: linux-kernel@vger.rutgers.edu' | /usr/lib/mh/rcvstore +kernel &>/dev/null\"" finish endif
Even so, this shouldn't be necessary. If (when) this braindamage is removed, could someone notify me and I'll alter my automatic linux-kernel signature.
I think this ought to be a FAQ item.
