Hi,
while playing with my new soundcard, I found a strange thing on my SMP system (2 x P5 233MX, kernel is 2.1.126pre2-ac2 compiled with gcc 2.7.2.3). When I run doom (SVGA version) with a non SMP kernel, every thing works as expected. Running sdoom on a SMP kernel (same .config) it hangs (doom itself), when I start a new game. The system is still alive and I'm able to kill doom (which is looping somewhere in usermode). And it's not sound related (as I thought first), because happens even when running doom without sound. I'm wondering how this could happen.
Thomas.
