To put it softly, you don't want to. Winmodem is a software-based modem, just like the other ones (PcTel modems, HSP modems, MWaves, SupraMax, etc). Software-based modems require the system to drive the modem. Most 56k software based modems require about 33% of a P5/133 CPU to run. These modems are problematic (oops.. I ran Real Player, and I got hung up because it used my CPU!), and should be avoided...
To put it another way... trash the coaster and buy a real modem.
