SubjectRe: 921Kbps on Linux: is it possible ?!?!

I do not know if 921kbps is usefull; still speeds like 230400 and
480800 probably are going to be usefull. And both new WinBond and
NatSemi chips support speeds up-to 1.5Mbps, they actually might have
480800 working :-). I'd vote for adding support for such speeds in
advance (probably upto 1.5Mbps), so that people have time to
upgrade...
Pavel

PS: I'm currently trying to implement support for NS PC87338, which
might allow my thinkpad to do 1.5Mbps. (I do not actually believe in
1.5Mbps working over my hand-made cabel, but even 230400 would be
nice.)
