    Sort of. WIPO is pushing a worldwide intellectual property treaty, but the
    U.S. bill goes *far* beyond their treaty. U.S. software companies, music
    and video publishers, etc. all want to make absolutely certain that they can
    rape you on a "per play" basis without any loopholes that would let anyone
    so much as breathe without paying them royalties.

    *This* is why free software/open source is just a small piece of the entire
    intellectual property picture. The companies behind the
    WIPO-plus-the-kitchen-sink bill are the enemies of free software. They must
    be fought at every opportunity.
