So how does one determine if a bug is in the kernel, or if it exists in another process? I suppose that any bug in the kernel could be passed on as a bug in the other program. What is this bug in realplayer? I have read that realplayer doesn't use the 'correct' way to access sound, in linux, as well as windows. But it works, or, rather, WORKED>
