SubjectRe: Kernel Panic (fwd)
Below is just one of several replies that I got to my original message
all pointing to this problem. Thanks to all that replied. I am compiling
2.0.33.

Does this problem exist with ALL kernels prior to 2.0.32? Does it effect
the 1.2.x versions?

Doug

This is probably "teardrop" attack - someone has sent a special packet
causing linux kernel to crash. This is fixed in kernels starting from 2.0.32.
Upgrade to 2.0.33.
