Subjectxconfig stopped working on 2.1.78
DateWed, 7 Jan 1998 21:45:47 PST
From"Marty Leisner" <>

make xconfig stopped working on 2.1.78...it failed with some patches,
so I got the whole shebang and it failed too...

Out of the box, doing make xconfig and save and exit give me:
syntax error in expression "($CONFIG_SOUND != 0) && ($CONFIG_LOWLEVEL_SOUND == 1) && ($(null) == 1 || $(null) == 2)"
    ("if" test expression)
    while compiling
"if {($CONFIG_SOUND != 0) && ($CONFIG_LOWLEVEL_SOUND == 1) && ($(null) == 1 || $(null) == 2)} then { write_tristate $cfg $autocfg CONFIG_AEDSP16 $CONFI ..."
    (compiling body of proc "writeconfig", line 1324)
    invoked from within
"writeconfig .config include/linux/autoconf.h"
    invoked from within
".f0_bot.r.save invoke"
    ("uplevel" body line 1)
    invoked from within
"uplevel #0 [list $w invoke]"
    (procedure "tkButtonUp" line 8)
    invoked from within
"tkButtonUp .f0_bot.r.save"
    (command bound to event)

For the time being, I got rid of Config.in in sound drivers...
