Hello, I've tried running 2.1.78 on two systems, an AMD K6 and a Pentium MMX. On the K6, everything works fine, on the K6, it doesn't boot - for some reason, rc.S is executed to the end, then the system hangs forever, it apparently doesn't enter runlevel 3. (No, it's not some program in my rc.S crashing - I've tried adding "echo ready" to the end of rc.S) Booting into kernel 2.1.67 works fine with on the same computer with the same configuration.
The system is running sysvinit-2.72, libc 5.4.42, modutils 2.1.71. Any ideas?
