Hmmm...I'm getting inconsistent results...It worked last
night after a modprobe/mount (its a module), but doing
a mount via kerneld hasn't worked in several months (2.0 is no problem).

BTW, at one time (2.1.7?) I used an old cdu31a.c driver (2.1.58?) and it
worked fine...
