SubjectThe CPU clock speed patch
Hi everybody!

Concerning that patch to detect the clock speed of a processor, I have
made
the C and assembly source available on the web. It can be found at:

http://www.creighton.edu/~pbrutsch/intel.zip

PS:
1) I am on the list as pbrutsch@creighton.edu - please send any replies
there.
2) Please be aware the source was originally intended for Microsoft's
Visual C++. It will take some work to get it to work with Linux, mostly
dealing with the assembler files. I can provide Linux-specific versions
if there is enough interest.
