I don't think so, but if I have them, what would I expect to see (even without bttv)? Yesterday I got a lockup right after starting xawtv, an before the Window appeared. This makes me think of an X (XFree3.2) / Windowmanager (Fvwm2) bug!? (will try it without Windowmanager)
BTW. these lockups are really annoying...
