The transname stuff went in around 2.1.3x but was removed again around
2.1.4x, I think. This is a bit of a shame, as it would have been really
useful for nfs-root boxes.

The ISA PnP driver only had its help merged from Alan's tree, I think.
You can pick up the full patch from
ftp://ftp.lmh.ox.ac.uk/pub/linux/pnp/pnp-0.3beta6.tar.gz.

For what it's worth, I'd like to see the PnP driver in 2.1.x soon. Aside
from a couple of TODOs (better sysctl, among other things), it's pretty
solid, and the driver mods are pretty straightforward.

But it's not my place to say what goes in... :)
