SubjectOverview of 2.2.x goals?
DateSat, 17 Jan 1998 23:40:31 -0800 (PST)
Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before.

I have speculated that the goal of 2.2 is to throw in the kitchen sink. The
equivelent of saying that Linux will be a better SYSV that SYSV. Maybe I'm
wrong, but that's just my take so far. Perhaps someone on the list that has
a broader knowledge of all of the changes could enlighten me to the goals of
2.2. Linus, care to comment? :) (grr, had to 'r' the s on the end cause' I
wrote it as Linux <grin> ).

Thanks,
Perry
