Hi all. I reported a problem with a 486 8M yesterday, and having problems when the load was high, then trying to use ppp.
./linux/Documentation/Changes states that kernel modules 2.0.0 are necessary. Is this still true? I've upgraded to 2.1.34, and the problem seems to have gone away.
Does it appear from the oops I reported that it could have been kerneld related?
BTW, just how long does it take to make -j zImage on a 486 8M? I've turned my HDD LED into a constantly-on power light indicator :)
