X11 is a pain, unless you're Miguel and/or blessed with copious hardware docs. =)
User space, though, is much easier thanks to RedHat. _Especially_ with the new glibc-clean SRPMS (thanks, Michael!). Of course, it helps when there's already an established port to the processor, and you're `just' working on the rest of the system. =)
