SubjectRe: New pre-2.0.31 patches..
Hi,

the following things seem to miss:

o the ncpfs DST fix (20-ncpfs-dst.patch from linuxhq)
o the ncpfs inode fixes from Bill Hawes (ncp_30-patch on linuxhq)
o a lot of TCP fixes from pre2 (including SO_BINDTODEVICE)
o a small patch for tulip.c, without it users who compile into kernel will
have problems:
--- tulip.c-pre3 Tue Aug 5 13:46:57 1997
+++ tulip.c Tue Aug 5 13:50:28 1997

+ return (cards_found > 0 ? 0 : -ENODEV);

}

o some isofs fixes
o the current released NCR-BSD driver
That are the most important missing ones from my point of view.

One suggestion, why don't you simply scan thru the patches on linuxhq from
time to time and send your personal ratings (silly, interesting, please
test further, recommended, optional, etc) to the maintainer?
If such ratings would be tagged to the patches, the trustability would be
much better and the need for new kernel releases would decrease (at least
mine ;-)

Ciao,
Franz.
