| |
Hi all,
I was trying to compile 2.0.30 on a 2.0.30 kernel with gcc-2.7.2.1 and I got the following error while the compiler was compiling NCR support:
Problem: block on freelist 00000000 isn't free
and the machine hanged.
After a reboot, I removed the NCR support from the kernel and tried to recompile
then I got:
kernel panic: trying to release non existent task
and again the system hung.
There are no entries in the syslog regarding these problems. Why do tehy occur.
Thanks,
sachin
