Subjectlmbench numbers on AMD K6 for 1.2.13, 2.0.30 and pre-2.1.45-6
There was some interest in lmbench numbers for the K6.
Here are numbers for some landmark kernels (this way
this posting is at least on topic).
Draw your own conclusions.

The hardware:
CPU : 200 MHz AMD K6
RAM : 64 MB RAM
HD : Quantum Bigfoot 2550A
CD : Toshiba XM-5702B
Chipset: Intel Triton II
Cache : 512KB
