SubjectRe: Ok, grace period under Linux definitely broken...


Oops, well, looks like reading dquot.c helped me understand what the
problem was. Looks like it doesn't update dqblk.dqb_btime on many
occasions (chowning a file, or changing the quota for some user). su'ing
to that user revealed that doing something more conventional, like
creating a file with dd, got the quota code to properly update the grace
period.
Linux quota is NOT broken then :)
