Hi,
I haven't had time to test this with 2.0.x or 2.1.44-pre3, but I'm currently unable to remove directories on msdos/vfat partitions.
Any attempt to do so complains of "device of resource busy", regardless of whether the directory was made under Windog or Linux.
Also - any files written under Linux are flagged read-only, it seems.
All on /dev/hd?, various vfat and msdos partitions. P120, etc. S/w mostly RH4.1. New alpha first-time dcache thing enabled.
Matthew.
PS. A little further investigation revealed that the mapsort program was causing running processes to enter D-state.
