Subjectpre-2.0.31 and Zombies
Hi!

I have applied the latest kernel patch (pre-2.0.31 from vger) and
everything works fine so far, except for one little problem:

Sometimes, the "request-route" shellscript is left as a zombie, after I
disconnect from my ISP. I'am not sure, but I think this script is
started by kerneld (in fact, killing and restarting kerneld removes the
zombie as well) whenever I connect to my ISP using pppd.

I'am using the modules-2.0.0 package. System is a RH 4.1 with some
minor changes (libc-5.4.23 for example).

As far as I can remember, I did not see those zombies with 2.0.29
(which I was running for the last few months).

P.S. please Cc replies, I'am currently not subscribed on this list.
