(Hi Ted! Any progress with a fixed e2fsck?)

Fixed to do what?

I take it that I missed the announcement of version 1.10.
Let me see... Yes, 1.10 is out. I'll have a look at it.

If you're referring to the ability to deal with files greater than 2GB,
I'm still waiting for someone to either give me or help me get an Alpha
(I've had one or two potential offers, but nothing as come through yet).
Until I get one, I simply don't have a development platform where I can
do the work.

Not so pessimistic - you just write the code. There are so
many Alpha's these days - people will complain when something
is wrong. Testing is not the right way to get working programs -
you just write them correctly to start with.
