Except those of us who have had to use it, or administer it.
I can't count the number of problems I've had with Solaris which can be traced back to _their_ code not working the way it should. I've checked the SunSolve database, and gee, some of these problems have been there for _years_.
Sun may be the most _popular_ UNIX available. That does not connote best.
