I am using knfsd-0.2.20 under kernel 2.1.35. It has worked fine up until now, but I having now when I do a mount from remote I get errors like:
nfs_fhget: getattr error = 116 nfs_read_super: get root inode failed mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on eliot82:/usr2/audio, or too many mounted file systems
this is with three mounted filesystems, I suspect that that isn't the problem...
On the would be server I get: "getfh failed: Operation not permitted" in my syslog.
nfsd is compiled as a module. In case it matters, this is a Cx486/100 w/ 16 MB ram, a VESA motherboard with a BocaLan ethernet card (PCnet32). The mount fails both from a P166 on the local network, and from my local computer. I have tried a bunch of stuff with my /etc/exports and options for kexportfs, and nothing works anymore. This includes unexporting everything, killing all nfs related processes, rmmoding nfsd, setting the exports file to two directories exported to world with default options, and restarting everything. No joy.
If any other info is helpful, I can provide it.
Evan
