There are r/o patches for NTFS under linux. I don't remember the web page,
as I have no use for such a thing, but I recall that the last time it came
up on comp.os.linux.misc I found it in lycos or something. There was even
some very alpha write code which was (at the time) not recommended for use
at all.

I don't know about Fat 32... I was under the impression that while some of
the structures are different, it was still conceptually very similar to FAT.
I however have never seen a fat 32 filesystem.
