Subject2 small problems
Date

Heya everyone..

Just 2 small problems, kinda trivial right now, but may be a problem
in the future..

The first, I've compiled 2.1.27 and 2.1.28 with binfmt_aout,
binfmt_java, ide-cd, floppy, fat, msdos, vfat, and a buncha other stuff as
modules, in particular, nfs, and ipv6. compiled clean on both kernels.

When booting them, though, I get the following from depmod:

*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.1.28/fs/nfs.o
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.1.28/ipv6/ipv6.o

after looking further into it with modprobe, I get this:

aurania# modprobe nfs
/lib/modules/2.1.28/fs/nfs.o: unresolved symbol kernel_flag
/lib/modules/2.1.28/fs/nfs.o: unresolved symbol active_kernel_processor
aurania# modprobe ipv6
/lib/modules/2.1.28/ipv6/ipv6.o: unresolved symbol csum_partial_copy

Searched through the source and appropriate header files, and didn't
find any references to them.

Also, something even less trivial, during the sound config in make
xconfig, CONFIG_MIDI and CONFIG_UART6850 weren't declared. both like I said,
are trivial right now for me, but when I'm going to need NFS, it's going to
be needed.

Any insigts on this?

BL.
