Hi All

I have a patch for 8192 files per process (with a system wide limit of
32768) for linux 2.0.29 at http://www.linux.org.za/filehandle.patch.linux

It's aimed at the weak-hearted who don't want to go scrambling around the
kernel sources to find all the "#defines" and so on.

I am re-compiling libc as we speak, and I will put it somewhere around there
too.
(there is also a patch at ftp://ftp.is.co.za/linux/local/kernel)

I haven't applied Matthias Urlichs's patch, since it's currupt, but it appears
to work fine without it (Matthias - put it on an ftp site or web server and
send me the URL)

It updates all of the needed ".h" files in /usr/include and /usr/src/linux
if you follow the instructions in the patch.

Enjoy!

Oskar
