I needed to implement a forced unmount for NFS, that is, an unmount that works if the server is gone. I wacked it into IRIX and I was wondering if anyone had done it for Linux yet. Or if anyone wants/needs it? The semantics are that all operations get ESTALE. No attempt is made to finish up I/O, it is assumed that if you are calling this interface, you want the file system gone now. -- --- Larry McVoy lm@sgi.com http://reality.sgi.com/lm (415) 933-1804 | ||||||||||||
