That's not what I meant. I meant lsof needs all three services.

Until someone does that, I suppose I'll have to continue to use
whatever Linux tools are available for gathering the data that
keeps lsof's interface and output consistent with the other UNIX
dialects it supports. I'm not primarily a Linux person and don't
have the resources to do kernel development for it.
