Hi all. I have been stress-testing a RH 5.0 box with DEC 21140 10/100 cards before moving it into production, and I am receiving the following messages:
eth0: Oversized Ethernet frame spanned multiple buffers, status 7fffceff! eth0: Oversized Ethernet frame spanned multiple buffers, status 061981a6! eth0: Oversized Ethernet frame spanned multiple buffers, status 7fffceff! eth0: Oversized Ethernet frame spanned multiple buffers, status 061f81a2!
I was NFS-copying data from a 4.2 2.0.33 box, with an ISA NE2k clone. Could this be a problem with my NE2k, and not a problem with my DEC clone? I believe this started happening after copying probably 4-6G worth of data in an infinate loop.
I just wanted to report this, in case it needed to be fixed.
Dave
