SubjectSMP 2.1.65 drifting time

I think this has been discussed already, but I don't recall
a solution, perhaps I missed it, so please bear with me.

I'm using 2.1.65 on a dual Pentium Tyan Tomcat IV board and I am getting
incredible drift in the system clock that adds up to about 1hr/day.
Is there a patch or solution for this?

Furthemore, I still find that I cannot print when I am booting with
2.1.65. I had the same problem with 2.1.6[3 4]
I have all the support in the kernel, but lpd keeps insisting that the
printer is offline. Booting 2.0.31 with approximatelly the same settings
(same for parport support except for the new 2.1.x stuff) resolves this.
