Nice work on 2.1.60. I got my SMP machine up. I had to get rid of CONFIG_PCI_DIRECT=y to get it to boot.
The outstanding change is that the following configuration:
ftp-->chaos(V2.1.60) --ethernet--> quark(V2.1.60) --PPP--> skunkworks(V2.0.12) --ethernet--> groveland(V2.1.12) --ftp--> ...sends data at 2.6 Kbytes/sec with no TCP stalls. The PPP link runs at 28.8. The modem receive LED was on practically all the time. I have never had this kind of performance before from my Linux machines!
In this configuration, quark and skunkworks are routers with PPP between them. quark proxy-arps for my home network.
Somebody fixed a long-time problem (now don't break it <grin>).
Cheers, Dick Johnson
