Subject2.1.24 name space analysis, bonus issue
DateFri, 31 Jan 1997 00:32:25 +1100
Not one, not two but three files to download for 2.1.24 name space
analysis. Only if you are interested in cleaning up the kernel name
space pollution.

ftp://ftp.ocs.com.au/pub/extra_externals-2.1.24.kernel.gz is a name
space analysis of a full kernel compile minus sound and ISDN, courtesy
of Thomas Koenig. The config compiled everything into the kernel.

ftp://ftp.ocs.com.au/pub/extra_externals-2.1.24.modules.gz is a name
space analysis of a full kernel compile including the latest sound code
(ossfree38-beta4-linux21x) but excluding ISDN. The config compiled
everything as modules where possible.

ftp://ftp.ocs.com.au/pub/namespace.pl-2.1.24.gz is the Perl 5 script
that does the name space analysis. If any developers want to clean up
external symbols in their code, you can use this script to analyse your
particular kernel configuration.
