Subjectpassing no-hlt to the linux kernel
Dear Linux-Experts,

I have the problem of a HLT-bug on the PC-hardware, which causes the PC to
hang during booting linux. Now I am trying to build a new kernel using
the NO-HLT parameter but don't know how to pass this parameter to the
configuration of the kernel.

Can you help, please? I also have another PC running linux without any
problem. I try "make xconfig" here to build the kernel for the other computer.

Thank you very much in advance
