SubjectAHA2940UW UltraSCSI option
Hi there!

I've been using the AHA2940UW SCSI controller with a Barracuda 4LP
hard disk for 2 months now. Yesterday, I browsed through the kernel
source tree and found the following line in drivers/scsi/aic7xxx.c:

static int aic7xxx_enable_ultra = 0; /* enable ultra SCSI speeds */
So, it appears that I've been using Linux without UltraSCSI enabled.
I know that the controller also has a factory default setting to
disable UltraSCSI.

I think that there should be a text explaining how to enable the
UltraSCSI timings (from the kernel command line) if there is some
reason the default should be to disable them.
