I just checked my system:

8:35pm up 1:09, 8 users, load average: 0.35, 0.19, 0.11
71 processes: 70 sleeping, 1 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 6.9% user, 15.5% system, 22.3% nice, 77.7% idle
Mem: 63272K av, 60496K used, 2776K free, 34024K shrd, 11132K buff
Swap: 50396K av, 36K used, 50360K free 21616K cached

It is EXTREMELY rare when swap gets used on my system (even after several
days uptime and many netscape sessions). I haven't done much in this
period of uptime.
