SubjectNew Adaptech 2920 controller...
Is anyone out there using the new Adaptech 2920 PCI SCSI controller as their
primary controller card under Linux? In my system, I have a 2940 but a friend
(about two time zones away!) bought a 2920 thinking that they were going to
be similar -- WRONG. The 2920 is a Future domain controller and has the
beginnings of support for Linux in the 2.0 kernels, but I am unable to make a
boot/root diskette so that he can boot up and get his "Linux Unleashed"
(Slackware distribution) CD-Rom to work. If anyone has a 2920 boot diskette
that I could get a copy of I would be very gratefull!

Dan
