/proc does not _need_ to be standardized. It would be nice if
it were, but including formatting tags in each page is pure
nonsense. There are other means of insuring backwards
compatibility. And if were are doing this to support _one_
piece of software (procinfo) - absolutely not. The author
of procinfo should just create a PDL (proc description
language) file that is distributed with each kernel. This
also would be usable by other /proc consumers.
