What is the limit to the number of IPALIASes?
I need to install 506 IP Addresses on a box and make Apache HTTPD answer to them.
This is possible (easy) on FreeBSD, but I have to do it on Linux in order to keep the powers-that-be from forcing us to migrate. A SCAREY proposition!
Please help. I know this is at least 50% off topic for linux-kernel, but I need a good solution, fast.
(I'm not pulling any FreeBSD vs. Linux strings here, I'm just trying to solve a real problem and save-the-day-with-Linux like I enjoy doing so much...)
