Really? I know I overdid it...but we spent $200+ each for a pair of 7 device (about 15ft!) SCSI-2 cables from Granite Digital. The wire is really heavy gauge and is silver, I think. The end contacts are gold plate. The insulation is a really odd looking green teflon. I haven't gotten around to installing them...but I wanted to be absolutely sure our news server would not have cable problems, and would have room to grow.
