SubjectAdaptec 2940 scsi error with 2.0.4
I'm getting the following scsi error when I try to fsck my jaz disk.

The Jaz disk is rendered useless, and I have to reboot. I'm running...

Linux 2.0.4
gcc version 2.7.2
Adaptec 2940 pci scsi card
2 gig segate scsi drive
scsi cdrom
scsi Iomega Jaz drive
2 gig ide drive
Parallelizing fsck version 1.02 (16-Jan-96)
