SubjectRe: Java in OS?
If we are going to start talking about kernel daemons for languages,
how about coming up with a generic style for it.  While the original
poster may have wanted a Java box, I'd be much happier with a lisp
box, and I'm sure there are those that would rather have a *insert
your favorite language here* box.

What are the advantages of having such a creature as part of
the kernel anyway?
